Client: Federal Ministry of Power Prado Power was part of a team of consultants that conducted the feasibility studies for a 100MW Wind Farm to be sited in the Lekki Coastal Region, Lagos State. Specifically, Prado Power designed and installed an 80m mast that served as a support structure for the weather stations that were used for the wind assessment and measurement campaign in order to determine the suitability of the selected site.
Prado Power also monitored the operations of the weather stations installed on the mast in order to ensure the integrity of the atmospheric condition data that was being logged on an hourly basis for a period of one year. Data obtained was then analysed using the Wind Pro software. This analyses served as a basis for the turbine selection and turbine layout for the proposed Wind Farm.
